At The Creator's Academy, our mission is help children solidify their identity in Christ Jesus, by providing a bible-based curriculum and a nurturing, Christ-centered environment, where they can enjoy creative, project-based learning. We focus on both academic excellence and character development, ensuring a well-rounded education for every child. At The Creator’s Academy, our priority is to use all we have, to do all God has called us to do.
We want to grow from a small classroom to a larger one-room-schoolhouse where children of all ages interact and learn from each other. This vision also includes a workshop, raised beds and a greenhouse for year-around gardening. Farming is an essential part of our creative education, so acreage, structures, goats, chickens and supplies are also essential.

At The Creator’s Academy, we believe that families need an alternative to educating their children; one where their minds and hearts are protected from woke ideology and a broken education system. One where their children are guided by a sound, biblically based curriculum and educators who take this responsibility very seriously. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student can learn and has the potential to achieve greatness, and we are committed to helping them reach their goals and aspirations while meeting them where they are in their level of understanding. School should not be dreadful or stressful, it should be fun, challenging, and CREATIVE!

This isn’t just about money, this is about being a part of something special in the way that you can. Some can give time, supplies, or sincere prayers. Whichever way you choose to support us, please know that we are deeply grateful! “We are not meant to feed the 5,000, just provide our loaves and fish.” -Dallas Jenkins

About the Founder
Melissa Rodriguez is an approved service provider for the SCESTF Grant. The Creator’s Academy was born through the lens of both a struggling student and a teacher who knew education could be better. Years ago, the Lord placed a clear calling on her heart to open a school—one that would restore joy, purpose, and creativity to learning. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University and spending 10 years in the public school system,
she witnessed firsthand the growing pressures of cookie-cutter curriculum and standardized testing—and how deeply they affect children.
We are created by a Creator to CREATE and enjoy learning. When education is stripped of flexibility, identity, and purpose, children lose sight of who they are and how God uniquely designed them. The Creator’s Academy exists to do the opposite—helping children solidify their identity in Christ Jesus, discover their God-given abilities, and use them to do all He has called them to do.
I also hold a Master’s degree in Human Service Counseling with a focus in Life Coaching, have participated in short- and long-term mission work, and remain active in community outreach through my church. Outside the classroom, I love nature, gardening, reading, creating, and spending time with my family and small Yorkie, Happy.
This school is the fulfillment of a calling rooted in faith, experience, and a deep love for children and learning.
